There are many ways to get involved with The Windmill Project. We are a non-profit organization with all volunteer board members. We can only operate with the generosity, time and dedication of our community members. Below are are few ways you can get involved with The Windmill Project and impact our local special needs community.

Ask us how you can volunteer at an event.
Become a Board Member
Joining the Windmill Project is simple and doesn’t require a significant commitment! Here are the requirements for being on the board:
– Attend meetings on a monthly or bi-monthly basis
– Assist in planning events
– Attend events when possible
All our board members have children with special needs, and we aim to ensure that everyone has ample time to enjoy our events with their families.
Donate!
We rely heavily on the generous donations we receive. Below are a few ways your contributions can support the Windmill Project.
$100 – Awesome Athletes Sponsorship
Sponsor an Awesome Athletes session for $100 to provide families with a special opportunity to access these facilities at no cost.
$250 – Event Supplies
Each event can cost up to $250 in supplies, including crafts, cookies, facility rental costs and more. Your generous donation could cover the cost of these items for one of our events.
$500 – Sponsor an Annual Event
Some of our annual events are more expensive than others. A donation of $500 can help cover the cost of one of our most costly events.
$1,000 – Admin Costs for a Year
Every year, it costs the Windmill Project around $1000 to cover the cost of admin including, but not limited to: P.O. Box, website, insurance and more.
