Awesome athletes in a monthly program organized by The Windmill Project in partnership with community education. By rotating among three different facilities, this program allows families with special needs to enjoy some fun sporting activities together.

Spring Fling

Each spring, The Windmill Project hosts a fun event at our local library that includes crafts and storytime. We are fortunate to have local authors read their books related to special needs during the past two years, and we have even given out free signed copies of those books!

Plays at the Andria Theater

Our local theater has been generous in the last few years by providing us with a special summer showing of one play each season. This initiative allows our families to come together, be loud and proud, and sing along to one of their amazing student theater projects.

Special Time at Country Blossom Farm

In 2024, the Windmill Project hosted its first special event at Country Blossom Farm, and it was a fantastic experience! The generous owners of the farm arranged a wonderful day for our families to enjoy their incredible facility. With attractions like bounce pads, corn pits, bazooka ball, and much more, this event has quickly become one of our favorite annual traditions!

Halloween With The Windmill Project

Trick or treat! Join us for our annual Halloween event featuring trick-or-treating with both candy and fun fidget toys. We’ll also have some Halloween movies, crafts, and cookie decorating activities!

Christmas With The Windmill Project

Every year, Santa takes a break from his busy Christmas schedule to spend some time with the special people in our lives in a quiet environment with short lines and low traffic. Whether you prefer to sit back and watch holiday classics on the big screen, decorate a Christmas cookie, create a festive craft, visit Santa, or do all of the above, our Christmas event has something for everyone.

Dance Party!

A dance party for all ages! With multiple areas to suit everyone’s needs, our exciting dance party is a fantastic opportunity to dance, listen to music, and have fun!
